Bias cut dress in marbled silk crepe de chine. This dress is marbled in deep hunter green with touches of red, gold, navy and has a flattering a-line silhouette that looks pretty on most body shapes. Elegant in style with a comfortable fit, this dress is the perfect casual dress for women over 50.

This dress is a bias cut L/XL which fits most sizes 14 - 18 with bust to 42-43" and hips to 44". Length is short which falls just above the knee on a 5'2" woman.

100% Silk, Crepe de Chine. Breathable, cool, comfortable and durable. The weave of crepe de chine silk is fabulous in heat and humidity - very cool and light on the skin. Easy care & great for travel.
This blouse started as a piece of white silk. Susan marbled the silk by floating paints on a liquid, raking those paints into a pattern and then laying the silk on top of the floating pattern She then cut and sewed this blouse - no two are ever exactly alike.
Size Chart
Bias Cut Dresses have a beautiful fit because they are cut on the cross grain (at a 45 degree angle). This gives this a slight stretch and causes them to hang with a drape that you do not see with a straight grain cut dress. Notice the flutter at the hem - that is a result of being cut on the bias.
Bias cut dresses look exceptional on women whose bust, waist and hip measurements are close - whether the person is small or large in size.

Care Instructions
Easy care. Handwash in baby shampoo and cold water then rinse. Hang your item dripping wet and allow to dry. No pressing - hang in a steamy bathroom while you shower. Great for travel!
