Comfortable elegant dress in a gorgeous jewel tone marbled pattern. This is the perfect dress for a lovely cocktail event with friends, on a cruise, at a conference. The A-line bias cut dress is flattering and can be easily dressed up with shoes and jewelry.
This dress began as a piece of white silk that I marbled in rich tones of blue, green and violet. I then cut and sewed the dress.
This dress is a L/XL size which means it fits most women sizes 14-18 with bust to 42-43" and hips to 44". This dress is a short length which will fall just above the knee for most women.
Fabric is luxurious silk crepe de chine - its fabulous drape and luster makes this dress special. Care is easy too - handwash in shampoo, rinse and hang to dry. You can steam while you take a shower if there are wrinkles (perfect for travel!).

100% Silk, Crepe de Chine. Breathable, cool, comfortable and durable. The weave of crepe de chine silk is fabulous in heat and humidity - very cool and light on the skin. Easy care & great for travel.
This blouse started as a piece of white silk. Susan marbled the silk by floating paints on a liquid, raking those paints into a pattern and then laying the silk on top of the floating pattern She then cut and sewed this blouse - no two are ever exactly alike.
Size Chart
Bias Cut Dresses have a beautiful fit because they are cut on the cross grain (at a 45 degree angle). This gives this a slight stretch and causes them to hang with a drape that you do not see with a straight grain cut dress. Notice the flutter at the hem - that is a result of being cut on the bias.
Bias cut dresses look exceptional on women whose bust, waist and hip measurements are close - whether the person is small or large in size.

Care Instructions
Easy care. Handwash in baby shampoo and cold water then rinse. Hang your item dripping wet and allow to dry. No pressing - hang in a steamy bathroom while you shower. Great for travel!
