I hand dyed a piece of silk crepe de chine in that stunning periwinkle color, then added this intricate marbled fabric that coordinates perfectly to create a pleater center inset panel.  Because of the relaxed pleat in the front, this shirt is a little larger than the standard L/XL size.

Fabric

100% Silk, Crepe de Chine. Breathable, cool, comfortable and durable. The weave of crepe de chine silk is fabulous in heat and humidity - very cool and light on the skin. Easy care & great for travel.

This blouse started as a piece of white silk. Susan marbled the silk by floating paints on a liquid, raking those paints into a pattern and then laying the silk on top of the floating pattern She then cut and sewed this blouse - no two are ever exactly alike.
